Actress Priya Mani received the National Award for her best performance in the Paruthiveeran. The movie directed by Amir was a commercially a hit. After receiving the award, Priya Mani said that she was glad in receiving this award and she will be doing movies based on charcters. She quickly added that she will also be doing movies with good messages.
