Capsicum Pulao...

Ingredients

Capsicum- 1 nos

Mixed vegetables- corn, carrot, beans each little

Masalas :

Cinnamon sticks- 1 nos

Cloves -6nos

Curry leaves -2 nos

Cinnamon powder 1 spoon

Pepper – 1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp

Coconut milk one cup

Basmati rice 1 bowl

Procedure:

Bowl the basmati rice along with the masala’s well. After the rice I well cooked take a kadai and add the chopped onions to the oil. Fry well after that add ginger garlic paste and little pepper and cinnamon powder and capsicum and fry a little add the rice and mix the contents well. And coconut milk to the rice and cook till all the milk gets absorbed.

Serve hot.

Pongal....

Ingredients
» 1 cup Rice
» 1/4 cup Moong dal
» /2- 1 tsp jeera
» 1/2-1 tsp peppercorns
» 1/2 tsp pepper powdered fresh
» A few Cashewnuts broken
» 1/2 cup dessicated Coconut
» A pinch of Turmeric powder
» Ghee

Method
1. Fry the Moongdal a little till you get a light flavour.
2. Mix the dal with the rice, add 2 -3 cups of water (the rice should cook very very soft)
3. Add turmeric powder, coconut, a few peppercorns and a 1-2 tsp of ghee to the rice and pressure cook till done.
4. When done, take a kadai add sufficient of Ghee to it, more the ghee better it tastes, add jeera, pepper corns and cashewnuts.
5. Add the cooked rice mixture, add pepper powder, salt and mix well with the ghee and jeera/cashewnuts.

The pongal is ready!!! you can add some more ghee at the end if you need. It is best eaten fresh and Hot!!, You can serve it with Coconut Chutney, or Onion/Tomato Raita.

Rahman becomes the first Indian to win the prestigious Gloden Globe award! - Slumdog Millionaire.

Rahman has won the Gloden Globe award for his Best Original Music Score in Slumdog Millionaire. This movie had won awards in four categories,including Best film and Best Original Score (A R Rahman).Jai Ho is the song for which the award for Best Original Music Score was awarded and the lyrics ppenned by lyricist Gulzar.'Slumdog' is based on a novel by Indian diplomat Vikash Swarup and stars Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Irrfan Khan in lead among others.The film has been shot at various locations in Mumbai including railway station Victoria Terminus, which was a targetted by terrorists on November 26, last year.

station, who in turn took him to the court.

The judge was not at all impressed with him and gave him
capital punishment.

He was taken to the electrocution chamber. There was a single
chair in the center of the room and a single banana peel at one corner
of the room. The conductor was strapped to the chair and high voltage
current was given to him. But to everyone's amazement, he survived. The
judge decided to set him free, and he returned to his profession.

After a few months, this time, a good looking middle aged
woman tried to board the bus but the conductor didn't stop the bus.
Unfortunately, this time also, the good looking middle aged woman came
under the bus and died on the spot.

turn took him to the court. The judge took one look at the conductor and

Panner stuffed chilli bajji

Ingredients

7-8 bajji chilli’s

1 cup of gram flour

2 teaspoons of red chilli

1 teaspoon of tumeric

100gms of panner

few curry leaves

2 finely chopped onions

oil to fry

2 cloves and cumin

Pinch of salt

Procedure:

Preparing Batter:

Add gram flour,chilli powder, tumeric powder and salt to taste. Mix well add some water until you get a fine texture. It shouldn’t be liquid since it wont stick well to the stuffing’s.

And keep the batter aside. Take a frying pan and add little oil to it. Heats the oil a little add clove and cumin and then onion and fry till it gets cooked. And curry leave to it and add the grated panner on to the frying pan. Fry till the panner is well cooked . Cut the bajji chilli in between and remove the chilli flakes. Stuff the contents of the frying pan on to the bajji and seal it. Do the same thing for all the chilli bajji’s. Heat the oil in the frying pan. Dip the stuffed bajji in the batter and fry it till its cooked well. It tastes well when served hot with pudina chutney or tomato sauce.

Aamir khan’s Ghajini

Aamir khan’s Ghajini opening its box office collection of 100 percent her on December 25 beating Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Three days holiday following its release has added more flavors to the hit guaranteeing 100 % box office for the next five days too. Movie was judges by the court to be released by this week before due to some problems.

The movie is the remake of the Tamil version of ghajini starring surya and asin. It was a great hit in south India that inspired the director A.Murugadoss to remake in Hindi. It is a romantic action thriller where Sanjay Singhania, Aamir khan is a rich business man owning a mobile phone company. He falls in love with a model Kalpana, Asin that ends up in a tragedy. He is all abandoned after losing his lady in love in a violent incident. He try’s to avenge the killer in spite of his anterograde amnesia. Its much more interesting and keeps you to the edges of your seats all the while. Asin plays a poetic role of a caring lover adds more to the romantic part of the film. Lots of changes have been made form the kollywood version of the movie to satisfy Bollywood and Aamir’s fans. It has six songs scored by A.R. Rahman and lyrics by Prasoon Joshi.

Secret of Successful Marriage

You suggest some training in Hlite. However after making these products, I am giving to your Dad for Acceptance testing. Once he satisfied with the quality of taste, we pass it to Dining Hall. One more thing, I would like to share with you. As you have suggested during my appraisal discussion, now I have stopped crying while watching mega serials in TV

Sekar: Now coming to Dad. Dad can you please update us?

Sheela: Will do it Sekar. You know that the college, I am working is very far from our home. Every day I come back home at 6 pm and sit with Rahul for assisting him for doing his home work.

Sekar: Ok. Coming to second Agenda point .Due to this financial crisis we need to change the strategy of running our family. I am looking for your cooperation in the following cost cutting activities. I want to see the cost benefit of 40 % in this month budget after implementing this
ü Asking servant maid to leave her job
ü Stop ordering Pizzas for dinner
ü Avoid Tooth paste and use Neem sticks/Banyan Tree Sticks
ü Switch on TV only for watching Sunday Movie and Friday Oliyum Ozhiyum(Well known program for film songs in Podigai TV)
ü Wise to listen news from our near by portion when they watch news in TV
ü Every Saturday visit our relative’s homes and spend the whole day including break fast, lunch and Dinner
ü Don’t invite anybody to our home. Sunday our relatives might come to our house. Just lock the door outside and do your work inside silently.
ü Everybody assemble in adjacent street Perumal temple on Sunday for breakfast. They provide ‘Pongal’ as ‘prasadam’ which is good in taste
ü Sheela stop going for gym and Yoga class. Use Attural (Made up of Stone for making Dosa /idly dough), Ammikal (Replacement of Mixie) instead of grinder and Mixie. Mom please give KT to Sheela about this.
ü Don’t buy excess of things and store it in Fridge. Use big Mud pots for cool water.
ü Everybody go to bed early around 6:30 pm. Ask Rahul to do his homework when he comes back from school immediately during the hours sunlight is available. If not ask him to read under street light. He will become like Lincoln (Former US President) one day.
ü Use as much of cycle for transportation to near by places(It will help you to reduce fat and Cholesterol content)
ü I know you are eager to watch latest release ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’. Don’t plan for that. Wail till next year Diwali to watch the same movie in Kalaignar TV

Coming to second Agenda point. Sheela, can you please update me about Rahul’s Education. In which standard he is studying? Whether he got any double promotion? He was writing annual exam for third standard when I was leaving for Amsterdam.

Sheela: Sekar, I am bit worrying about his education. I have tracked his efforts, schedule in our OHM+ tool. I found 20 % in Effort variance and 35 % in schedule deviation. His learning curve goes down in the control chart which you can see in the report, I have sent you yesterday.

Sekar: Thanks for your measurements. I will review the report and we will discuss it on next week’s call. I have a client meeting now. So we will discuss the third agenda item next week. The release of Suriya's Vaaranam Aayiram, movie directed by Gautham Menon is set to release on coming September 29th! Gautham Menon and Suriya coming together once again after the Blockbluster movie Kakka Kakka. Divya, Sameera and simran with Suriya in Vaaranam Aayiram. The movie trailer in Television has created a tremendous expection on this movie.
